What the modules coverYes. The installer is a free download, and you can install it and sign in without a key. Opening a company’s data needs an activation key, which we issue once we have quoted your seat count. Ask for one and we will walk you through it on a real or scrubbed client file.
No. The version you have installed is licensed to you permanently and keeps working in full. Maintenance only decides whether a later version can be installed. It is never a switch on the one you already run.
Not in normal use. Each company is a file on your own machine, or your own office server in multi-user mode. There is no cloud sync, and nothing is sent to us to keep the software running. Data goes out only through features you switch on yourself: the optional AI bill reader, which uses your own API key, and email reminders to your parties.
Cold storage and jewellery are add-ons for clients in those trades. Each is unlocked by your licence key, so adding one means we reissue the key with the module included. Your seats, maintenance date and data stay as they are. See what each module covers.
